Local Involvement

Our local involvement:

Wyldlife

Aaron Kelsay
Working with Wyldlife in Southeast Portland.
Middle school is a time when kids make important decisions about who they are and what they believe. And so WyldLife leaders — who range from spiritually mature high school and college students to moms, dads and retirees — consider it a privilege to be involved in their lives. We seek to model and express God's love to our young friends by learning their names, hearing their stories and honoring their God-given desire for a life of fun, adventure and purpose.
Lifehouse's involvement ranges from monthly financial support, mentoring, to providing meals at their events.

Global Involvement

Our global involvement:

Ron and Lisa Ramsey
Ron and Lisa Ramsey are long-term missionaries working as international staff in Gjilan, Kosovo. Post war Gjilan struggles with a poor infrastructure and economy with an unemployment rate of 45-50 percent. With less than 1/10th of 1% of the population who are Christians in a city of approximately 130,000, there is a great need for the message of Jesus. Currently, Lisa is immersed in a full-time Albanian language program as she prepares to use her counseling degree to serve the Kosovar people. Ron participates in the language program part-time and also directs the Ringjallja Center, which exists to serve as a launching pad for church planting and Christ centered, wholistic community development in eastern Kosovo. The Ramseys are partnered with Compassion and Mercy Associates (CAMA), the relief and development arm of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

Partner with the Ramseys
Pray for:
-Solid acquisition of the Albanian language
-Healthy relationships with each other and other members of the team
-A love for the people of Kosovo
-A constant connection and dependence on God
-Growth among the national believers

Who Are We?

Lifehouse is a new church seeking to be an authentic community of faith that loves Jesus and follows His teachings. We do not presume to know everything about life or God but we do see ourselves as a growing community of believers searching in open, honest ways. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey you are invited to join us!

How we express our faith:

We want to develop and experience healthy relationships that are authentic, full of grace, and truth.

What We Value: Three Words

Authentic: Lifehouse is a SAFE place. A place where we’re trying to be real people… a place where you can have doubts, struggles, issues, and addictions without being judged.

Community: Lifehouse is a place of FRIENDSHIPS. We’re in this mess together, so Lifehouse is a place where you can open up a little. It is a place where you can let someone else in your life. It is a place where you can begin to build trust and get a little deeper. We’re here to help each other.

Faith: Lifehouse is a place where you can get closer to GOD. We are followers of Jesus and teach the Bible. Lifehouse is a place where you can rethink what you’ve heard about Jesus. It is a place where you can create some space where He can help make sense of your lives.

You’re Invited:

We don’t have all the answers at Lifehouse. We’re not perfect people. We’re just everyday folks on a journey to know God better, love people better, to live better lives, to find some healing and understanding, and make this world a better place to live. We are on a journey of discovering what living a faith-filled life really looks like. Come with us on this journey. Come be a part of the story of Lifehouse.
